In Chengalpattu district, it has come to light that those under the category of tourism agents are operating without proper registration in the tourism industry as per the guidelines.
Therefore, District Collector Rahul Nath has directed that the tourism organizers should register on the website www.tntourismtors.com by March 31.
It has also been warned that action will be taken against those companies if they fail to register.
