Paddarpalayam; Thirupur Corporation, 25th Ward Kaveri Nagar has more than 50 houses.
At the reserve site there, some local people are worshiping with an idol of Lord Ganesha.
Some residents of the area objected to this and filed a complaint with the Corporation. In this regard, the Corporation officials and 15 Velampalayam policemen went there and held talks urging the removal of the Ganesha statue placed at the Government Reserve Site.
For that, most of the residents of the area joined us and installed the idol without disturbing anyone. Some refused to be removed as they could not be removed for protest. In this case, the authorities have issued a notice to demand the removal of the idol and if they do not remove it, it will be removed on behalf of the corporation.
