Madurai: After the controversy that arose in the education department that some people are selling student information recorded on the education management platform ‘Emis’, the next controversy has arisen that some people are earning revenue by publishing the uploading process of the department’s applications on YouTube and forcing millions of teachers to watch it. The police investigation has started regarding the complaint. Although many negative reports have been published about the operations of the ‘Emis’ office under the control of the officials of this department, no departmental investigation has been conducted in this regard.

The information on this site is constantly being accused of being insecure.

As if to confirm this suspicion, there has been an incident of selling information about students. In this case, some teachers working in the Chennai EMIS office are running some YouTube channels in the name of education department, and they are publishing videos of the processes to be informed to the district education authorities, teachers, and the uploads to be carried out in the EMIS and are getting lakhs of ‘views’ and ‘likes’.

It is also alleged that they are earning several lakhs of revenue through this.

The authors said:
Some teachers have been deputed to work at EMIS. The periodic change in EMIS, teacher, student attendance record, new uploads in EMIS app are released as videos on some ‘You Tube’ channels operating in the name of education department before the teachers are properly informed.

Its ‘link’ is also sent to millions of teachers. Due to ’emis update’, there is a situation where all the teachers have to watch it without any other option. They said that some government employees are earning income through this.
