Coimbatore: Echanari, Karpagam Nigaram University’s national five-a-side hockey tournament was held at Echanari and the players stunned by putting on a spectacular performance.
Association of India Universities (A.I.U.) and Karpagam Nigarat University organized a national level inter-university five-a-side hockey tournament at Karpagam University yesterday. Registrar Ravi inaugurated the competition. In this, 16 teams participated.
In the first match, the Karunya University team beat the Rajasthan Kushaldas University team 9-0; Andhra Acharya NagaArjuna University also defeated Dindigul Gandhi Gram University by 6-0.
Sudhakar, Director of Physical Education acted as the competition coordinator.
