Violence broke out in protests by the Banjara community, who claimed that their share had been reduced by the manner in which the reservation was divided. Due to this, former Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa’s house was pelted with stones. They also removed the BJP flag from his house and hoisted the flag of the Banjara community. The windows of the house were broken in the attack. The protesters pushed the barricades and attacked the police by pelting stones.

The police went there and used batons on the protestors. Also, Superintendent of Police G Mithun Khuman has visited Yeddyurappa’s house and is investigating.
