Motorists have demanded that Pannadam-Kundum and potholed Pannadam-Nallur tar road should be repaired.
More than 10 villagers, including Erappavoor, Kovilur, Sirumangalam, go to many areas including Pennadam, Vridthachalam, Nallur, Veypur for their essential needs, using the tarred road from Pannadam to Nallur via Thaoyoor, Koviluar.
On this important road, the road from Erappavur to Koviluar is not maintained and is potholed and unfit for traffic.
Due to this, motorists traveling on this route face a lot of difficulties. Also, during night time, people riding two-wheelers slip and fall down and get involved in accidents. Therefore, steps should be taken to repair the potholed Pannadam-Nallur Thar road.
