African countries including Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya have been experiencing drought for six consecutive years.

Due to rising international food prices, many people here are suffering from lack of adequate food. The same situation prevails.

Especially in Somalia alone, more than 60 lakh people are suffering from food shortages. Due to this, 43 thousand people died last year alone.

Of these, more than half are children. Apart from this, lakhs of cattle have also died.

In addition to this, 3.80 lakh people have become refugees like never before, as Al-Shabaab, which is associated with Al-Quaida terrorist organization, has been carrying out continuous attacks on innocent people.

While various countries are reaching out to help the war-torn Eastern European country of Ukraine, Somalia should also help.
