Hosur: Parents are shocked when the government school perimeter wall is demolished near Choolagiri.
More than 80 students are studying in Government Urdu Middle School in Athimugam Panchayat Union near Choolagiri, Krishnagiri District.
As the damaged classroom buildings were demolished a few years ago, the school is now being held in a private building. At the place where the old building was demolished, it was decided to construct a new building at a cost of 19 lakh rupees. However, some people from the area continue to block the work.
In this case, some people have demolished and leveled the perimeter wall of the school premises overnight. The parents of the students alleged that the wall was demolished and the land leveled to get to the private layout.
A few years ago, five newly constructed toilets near the school were demolished. The surrounding wall has now been demolished. The parents have requested the district administration to intervene and take steps to construct a new building.
