Tamil News | Suffering from non-functioning of Police Help Desks

by time news

In Kodambakkam, Chennai, there has been a demand to open the locked Police Help Centers.

In Chennai, there are at least four Police Help Desks within each police station boundary. In this, the police will be on duty in ‘shift’ mode.

The police at the center should monitor the incidents happening in their respective areas.

The need to visit police stations for emergency help is avoided by these help centers. The police were helping the people of the respective areas to examine the camera records in the center and to investigate the complaints.

At present, these Police Help Centers are locked and turned into showpieces at various places.

This includes the Police Support Center at Ashok Nagar 6th Avenue under the Ashok Nagar Police Station.

Also, police support center near Rajamannar Road – Munusamy Road, Maduravayal Amuda Nagar Police Support Center in Koyambedu police station limits are under lockdown.
