A resolution was passed in the Manamadurai panchayat union meeting thanking the Tamil Nadu government for setting up a museum in Manamadurai-Keezadi.

The Manamadurai Panchayat Union meeting was chaired by President Latha. PTO, Shanti presided. Welcomed by manager Tavamani. Vice President Muthuswamy proposed vote of thanks. Various resolutions were passed in the meeting including thanking the Tamil Nadu government for setting up the museum at a cost of Rs.18.40 lakhs.

Discussions held in the meeting:

DMK, Councilor Malaichami: The Madai in Surakulam Kanmai should be repaired.

Panchayat Union President Lata: Action will be taken soon.

ADMK, Councilor Rukmani: A field should be set up in Deethambettai and steps should be taken to build a road in Raja Gampira.

PTO, Shanti: Steps will be taken to carry out the above works under the NRGS scheme.

E.Com., Councilor Murugesan: They are encroaching on the school in Lower Pasalai because the perimeter wall is not proper. M Karisalkulam should take steps to rehabilitate Enathi Fort Road.

PTO, Shanti: Field inspection will be done soon.

The meeting was attended by District Councilors Marimuthu, Karupiya Union Councilors Annadurai, Somasundaram, Manjukumari and various government department officials.
