Valparai: Valparai (Gully) team won the district level football tournament in Valparai.

On behalf of Valparai Football Friends, a district level football match was held at the Municipal Sports Ground. 20 teams from various regions including Coimbatore, Salem, Tirupur, Valparai participated in the competition. DMK, City Secretary Sudhakar, Municipal Deputy Chairman Senthil and Councilor Bhaskar inaugurated the finals held yesterday.

Valparai KKC team and Valparai Gully team played in the match. Valparai Gully won by tiebreaker. Municipal Councilor Ravichandran presented the prize and trophy to the winning team.
