Even as the leader of the party, I believe that the time has come for ‘clean politics’ in Tamil Nadu. The practice of ‘clean politics’ means winning elections without giving money. We are doing classic politics, no matter who gets election by paying money.
Politics in Tamil Nadu political arena has reached such a level that it is not possible to meet elections without money. Only one quality has changed. Politics has changed to such an extent that if it is the ruling party, the people will accept it because they give so much and if it is the opposition party, they give a little less. I don’t agree with that. There is no agreement on meeting the same election as an individual, as a supporter of the BJP and as a state president.
At the same time, when it is called political change, I want the strategies to be taken while promoting politics, the strategies to be taken while meeting in the campaign, and the strategies to be taken when meeting the people should be ‘clean’. People should be given that hope that this party can provide ‘clean politics’.
So, I have shared some ideas with the leaders. I am sure of it. There is no alternative. Not against any party. All parties politicize whatever they think is right in their journey. I do not have the authority to say that he is wrong to take a political stand. That kind of politics should not be done. I don’t have the authority to tell you to do that.
I became a debtor!
I am currently a debtor after contesting the Aravakurichi elections. As a police officer, little by little, the money he had saved has been emptied. I have no intention of standing for election by paying money. Other parties may pay, I will not say this openly. It seems to me that people have come to change in Tamil Nadu.
During this period, after holding the position of BJP State President for 2 years, after observing the politics of Tamil Nadu, I have traveled to every corner of Tamil Nadu. I have walked from the car. I am sure. People are waiting for a big change in the political field, honest politics and not paying for votes.
Above all, it is my personal position that the time has come to appeal to the people in an honest manner and get their votes.
As I have already said, I am not a person who talks about this party alliance and that party alliance. I do not have the authority I speak of at this time. I will speak soon. Speaking as a BJP man. But, I am absolutely clear. Only in this kind of political development should I be included. There is no change in this. I am sure of that.
Change in Tamil Nadu
When I joined politics, I also contested in Aravakurichi. It was a time when you didn’t know what was going to happen in politics. It was a time when political strategies were unknown. But today, after 2 years, I have concentrated my mind and brought it.
Politics should be conducted honestly, with currency, without money. Otherwise, I have come to the opinion that change in Tamil Nadu will not happen even for a thousand years. I have started talking about it within my party. I have started talking to leaders and tenders. I will be more aggressive in the coming years.
Our leaders will tell about the alliance when the time comes. Again I say that no party has any enemy. No one has an enemy and no leader has an enemy.
