Everyone should stand up regularly when Tamiltai greetings are sung. However, the exception is that transgender people are not the only ones required to stand up. In this context, the All India Tamil Association has thanked the order for the Tamiltai greeting.
In a statement issued today, the All India Tamil Sangam Council said, “When the then Chief Minister, artist Karunanidhi, addressed a state function on March 11, 1970, he announced that Tamil Thai greetings would be the beginning of Tamil government programs and that the song composed by Manonmaniyam Sundaranar, Neerum Kadalutta, would be a Tamil Thai greeting song.
Following this, Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced that Tamiltai Vazhthu will be the state anthem of the state of Tamil Nadu and that everyone must stand up while singing Tamiltai Vazhthu.
On behalf of the All India Tamil Sangam, we would like to thank Hon’ble Chief Minister MK Stalin for making this announcement. ”
