Chief Minister MK Stalin met former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam at his residence and condoled the demise of his mother.

While campaigning for the Erode East Constituency was going on in Tamil Nadu, the mother of former Madalwar O. Panneerselvam died of old age on February 24. O. Panneerselvam, who attended his mother’s funeral after skipping all party functions due to his mother’s death, went to dissolve his mother’s ashes in the Ganga.

Also, while many political party leaders condoled the death of Panneerselvam’s mother over the phone, many others paid their respects in person. Meanwhile, O. Panneerselvam, who has not participated in any party work and public events since the day of his mother’s death, is resting at his residence in Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin today met O. Panneerselvam at his residence and inquired about the death of his mother and expressed his condolences. Sports and Youth Development Minister Udayanidhi Stalin accompanied the Chief Minister in the meeting which lasted for 10 minutes.

O. Panneerselvam, who was leaving after the meeting, sent Stalin to the door.
