Tamim wrote on the verified Facebook page at such a critical time in the country, ‘Feni, Comilla, Chittagong, Khagrachari, Noakhali and many other areas of the country are affected by the terrible flood. It is our responsibility to help those in need at this difficult time.’

This cricketer urged everyone to forget rivalry and differences and work together, ‘Now is not the time to think about who likes, who dislikes, who has what ideology. Everyone should jump shoulder to shoulder to be next to people.’

The army extended its helping hand to the flood victims. Many volunteers are working alongside the army. Some are giving relief, some are sending financial donations for the needy people.
