Quite a setback as Tanizen has confessed in the stream this Monday, March 6, where he explained that they have received a mail from one of the Rockstar Games companies, in which they urge to cancel the series. The first step has been to pause the project and remove any mention of GTA of their networks, while they verify that the email received is indeed true.
the core of the problem is to modify the gameplay of GTA to a survival mode based on The Last Of Us. So at the moment there is nothing they can do if finally the mail received is indeed from a real account associated with Rockstar. After that, there should be conversations in case it is possible to go ahead in some way, and if the company does not, move the idea to a different game other than GTA: «The ideas are ours and I will translate them, either in GTA or in the game that allows us“, commented Tanizen.
