Wallajabad : Next to Wallajabad, is the village of Villivalam.
Here, in the financial year 2020–21, under the 15th finance commission grant, the overhead water tank with a capacity of 30 thousand liters has been completed a few months ago at a cost of 14 lakh rupees.
This overhead water tank is equipped with three-tiered iron ladder steps for convenient cleaning.
In this, an iron staircase, cement coating has broken and the ladder has recently fallen down. Due to this, villagers of Villivalam are lamenting that they are unable to climb on the upper reservoir tank and clean the tank.
Therefore, there has been a request that the concerned department should take action to fix the iron ladder which is damaged and falling down.
