Kochi: Oil companies have been pumping maximum amount of fuel at their pumps following the announcement that tanker lorries of BPCL and HPCL will cease service from today. Despite being on holiday yesterday, the iron was filled in tanker lorries from BPCL and HPCL depots and delivered to the pumps.
Tanker lorries of Indian Oil Company are not participating in the strike. Authorities are trying to get as much fuel as possible from the pump owners’ own tankers to other pumps.
