Taounate: 1,537 projects worth nearly 670 million dirhams carried out by the INDH between 2019 and 2024

According to data presented by the head of the Social Action Division (DAS) of the province of Taounate, Amin Naoufal Mjid, during a meeting Tuesday of the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH), the INDH has contributed 98% to the financing of these projects distributed between the four programs of phase 3 of the Initiative.

During this meeting chaired by the governor of the province of Taounate, Saleh Daha, the CPDH approved 93 project proposals within the framework of the Support for youth entrepreneurship axis of the Income Improvement and Development Program. economic inclusion of young people (ARIEJ), for a total cost of more than 9.3 million dirhams, including a contribution of 8.3 million dirhams from the Initiative.

Of the 603 ideas submitted by project leaders, 129 were pre-selected by the CPDH in coordination with the heads of local human development committees.

Speaking on this occasion, the governor of the province of Taounate recalled the strategic orientations of the third phase of the INDH, launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI on September 19, 2018, which constitutes a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles to development human capital, by adopting a holistic, proactive and innovative approach aimed at consolidating achievements and refocusing its programs with a view to promoting human capital, caring for younger generations and supporting vulnerable groups, while adopting a new generation income-generating and job-creating initiatives.

Mr. Daha also described as “positive” and “remarkable” the record of the achievements of the INDH at the provincial level, noting that these achievements have contributed to creating a dynamic at the economic, social and development level, notably through support for schooling and the fight against school dropouts, bringing health services closer to citizens, improving maternal and child health, supporting infrastructure and basic social services, improving income and economic inclusion of young people and support for people in vulnerable situations.

The governor praised on this occasion the efforts made by stakeholders so that the planned projects see the light of day, calling for accelerating the pace of project completion, so that the target groups can benefit from these actions within the allotted time frame.

At the end of this CPDH meeting, the third for 2024, the governor of the province of Taounate handed over the keys to 8 school transport buses to the rural communes of Ourtzagh, Ain Aicha, Bouarouss, Galaz , Zrizer, Tamedit, El Bsabsa and Sidi Haj M’hamed.

The governor also handed over the keys to 2 ambulances to the municipalities of Tissa and Oulad Ayyad, and 5 tricycles equipped with project kits for the benefit of young entrepreneurs, including 2 tricycles equipped with mobile carts for the sale of dried fruits and sweets, two for fast food, and another for the sale of juice.

These projects required a total cost of approximately 4.5 million dirhams within the framework of program 3 of Improving income and economic inclusion of young people and program 4 of Strengthening human capital of rising generations of the third phase of the INDH.
