Taounate: Training session for the presidents of local human development committees
Taounate – The Taounate Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) recently organized at the provincial headquarters a training session for the presidents of local human development committees under the theme: “Human capital and the 3rd phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH)”.
This initiative is part of the training and capacity building strategy of the INDH ecosystem in its 3rd phase, launched by HM King Mohammed VI on September 19, 2018. It aims to consolidate the capacities of local human development actors, in accordance with the general strategy of the National Coordination of the INDH in the field of training.
Speaking on this occasion, the president of the Provincial Committee for Human Development in Taounate stressed the importance of training and continuing education as a fundamental lever for qualifying human resources through theoretical and practical actions and the development of capacities and knowledge as well as the improvement of managerial and professional skills of the beneficiaries.
He also emphasized the important and central role played by local human development committees, both in terms of developing the territorial participatory diagnosis and in relation to the proposal and monitoring of the implementation of projects at the local level.
This meeting was marked by the presentation of the concepts of human development and human capital as a theory and approach that combine economic, social and political development, the pillars of human development and basic needs, as well as the concept of human development indicator and human capital. The four programs of the third phase of the INDH were also reviewed on this occasion.
