These projects, approved during the meeting chaired by the governor of the province, Larbi Touijer, are divided into 67 projects falling under the entrepreneurship axis (more than 6.70 MDH) and 8 projects falling under the social solidarity economy axis ( more than 2.08 MDH). The contribution of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) to these projects amounted to 7.14 million dirhams, compared to 1.62 million dirhams for the beneficiaries.
During this meeting, a budget envelope estimated at 300,000 dirhams was allocated to the purchase of equipment for the multi-service social center for disabled people in Taourirt, as part of the support program for people in vulnerable situations. .
The Provincial Committee also approved the program contracts relating to the financing of the equipment and operation of primary education units in the province.
In a speech on this occasion, Mr. Touijer underlined the importance of the projects carried out within the framework of the INDH for the current year, which will make it possible to improve human development indicators in the province and promote living conditions of the population, particularly in areas where indicators of precariousness and poverty have recorded high levels.
The governor explained that the INDH in Taourirt works in particular to strengthen infrastructure in remote douars, to invest in human capital by supporting people in vulnerable situations, by paying attention to maternal and child health, by fighting against school dropout and encouraging schooling. It is also about improving incomes and supporting small businesses and income-generating projects.
In this regard, the governor praised the efforts of members of the Provincial Committee, civil society bodies and various partners for the implementation of INDH projects at the provincial level, emphasizing the importance of the participatory approach. to achieve the desired objectives.
This meeting took place in the presence of heads of local human development committees, heads of decentralized external services from government sectors, civil society associations members of the committee and several heads of divisions and services in the province.
