The parliamentary commission of inquiry into the political supervision of the management of TAP will have already received the documents relating to the resignation of the CEO and chairman of TAP, which the Government had said it would send.
Confirmation arrived this evening, after Pedro Figueiredo was heard by the National Union of Civil Aviation Workers (SINTAC), when social-democratic deputy Paulo Moniz questioned the chairman of the commission about the status of the request. Jorge Seguro Sanches assured that the documents have already reached the CPI, but it has not yet been validated under what “conditions” and “classifications”.
Everything indicates that the Government will have delivered the documents in physical format, more specifically CD – a choice that was worth some jokes by the committee’s deputies. “This is 2023”, they say.
This Wednesday’s hearing also reserves the leader of the leader of the Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SPAC), Tiago Faria Lopes.
