Tarek Riaz Khan has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of NRB Bank Plc, a company listed in the banking sector in the capital market.
On Thursday (September 12), this information was revealed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to information, Tarek Riaz Khan has joined as the bank’s new MD from Wednesday (September 11). He joined the bank as MD for a contractual period of 3 years.
Before joining NRB Bank Plc, Tarek Riaz served as MD & CEO of Padma Bank Plc. After completing his Masters in Marketing from Dhaka University in 1994, he worked in several National and Multi-National organizations. He started his banking career in 1997 as a Trainee Officer in Standard Chartered Bank in an illustrious career spanning 30 years. He served for 16 years in senior management positions especially in the domain of retail and branch banking.
Besides, he served as Deputy Managing Director, COO and Camelco at Premier Bank Plc and Mutual Trust Bank Plc. Besides, Bank Alfalah has served as Country Head of Retail Banking and Branch in Bangladesh.
