(Web Desk) Kamran Mehdi, the son of Emperor Ghazal Mehdi Hasan, has said that I am proud to be the son of the great singer of the world of music and the trustee of the artistic traditions associated with him.
Speaking during the performance in “Shab Ghazal” event organized under the auspices of Culture Committee of Karachi Press Club, Kamran Mehdi said that he is carrying forward the great legacy of his father, Mehdi Hassan has no competition. No, such artists are born in centuries, I am trying to learn something from their art of singing.
He said that programs will be presented in all the major cities of Pakistan, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Chicha Watani and other cities during this month on the celebration of Mehdi Hasan.
In “Shab Ghazal”, singer Hafsa Nadeem from Multan, Shazia and Shabana Kothar also presented duets while Kamran Mehdi gave a solo performance of more than two hours. And Arshad Khawar paid while Joint Secretary Muhammad Munsif, Athar Javed Sufi and Zulfikar Wacho welcomed the guests.
