Colombo: In Sri Lanka, 5 ministers including 2 senior ministers have been suddenly sacked for discrediting the party.
In Sri Lanka, the coalition government of Sri Lanka Freedom Party led by President Ranil Wickremesinghe is going on. A vote on the budget was held here yesterday in Parliament.

In this case, President Ranil temporarily sacked Aviation Minister Nimal Sripala de Silva, Agriculture Minister Amaraweera and 3 Union Ministers for tarnishing the name of the party. Party General Secretary Daya Jayasekara said that those who violated the decisions of the central committee of the party will be temporarily dismissed until they give an explanation.

President Ranil, who is also the finance minister, is holding a referendum on the budget for the financial year 2023 in the parliament, and 5 ministers have been sacked, causing a stir.
