Four alleged members of the hacker group The Infraud Organization were detained in Moscow, TASS reports, citing a law enforcement source. Among those detained is the alleged founder of the group, Andrey Novak, who is wanted by the United States on charges of cyber fraud.

According to investigators, The Infraud Organization received income from the use of stolen credit card data. The hackers were detained by the FSB “with the operational support” of US law enforcement agencies, the TASS source said. Andrei Novak was arrested for two months, other members of the group – Kirill Samokutyaev, Konstantin Bergman and Mark Bergman – were placed under house arrest.

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow confirmed that on the eve of the court granted the petition of the investigation to elect the detainee a measure of restraint. They are charged with two counts. 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal access to computer information) and Art. 187 (illegal circulation of means of payment).

In January, the FSB detained 14 members of the REvil hacker group at the request of the United States. More than 426 million rubles were confiscated from them, as well as computer equipment and 20 premium cars. Eight people were arrested, they face up to seven years in prison with a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
