Mumbai: Mahindra, which is rocking the Indian SUV market, has unveiled its first electric car, the XUV 400, and is now launching it in the Indian market.

XUV 400 E.C., and XUV. The car is available in two variants, 400 EL, and 5 colors.

The car has a comfortable interior space and a generous boot space of 378 litres. Also, this car with three types of drive modes, namely ‘Pun, Fast, Peerless’, has a ‘Lively’ mode facility for easy driving in high traffic areas.

The launch price of the XUV 400 is set between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh depending on the variant. Also, the company said that this introductory price will be available only to the first 5,000 people.

Mahindra has said that initially this car will be introduced in more than 34 cities including Chennai and Coimbatore and its distribution will start from next March.

It is considered that this introduction of Mahindra will be a catch for Tata Motors, which is currently the hero of the game.
