Chandrasekaran, who hails from Tamil Nadu, was elected chairman of the Tata Group in February 2017. He lives with his family in a duplex house on the 11th and 12th floors of the 33-storey aerial luxury building ’33 South ‘near the Jaslok Hospital on Mumbai’s Peter Road. They were paying a monthly rent of Rs 20 lakh for the house.

In this situation, Chandrasekaran has bought the ‘duplex’ house where he lived for Rs 98 crore. This is a house of about 6 thousand square feet.

1.63 lakh per square foot

The house has been deeded in the name of Chandrasekaran, his wife Lalita and son Pranav for the last 4 days. 1.63 lakh per square foot. A construction company called Jivesh is selling the house to them. He has recently bought an apartment for Tata Group Chairman Chandrasekaran with a further extension for another 5 years (until 2027).
