The Tata Group is working towards the acquisition of the Wistron plant by March 31. While there are reports that the Tata Group is planning to buy the iPhone manufacturing plant soon, there is no official announcement from either side.
Perhaps if the Tata Group buys the Wistron factory, iPhone manufacturing will be done in India. It is said that there is a possibility that the price of expensive iPhones will decrease due to this.
Tata has also taken other steps to increase business with Apple. Tata had earlier announced to open 100 Apple stores at a cost of Rs 1.4 billion.
