Customers are excited as Tata has reduced the price of the Nexon EV electric car and made some changes in the mileage. One of Tata’s most popular cars, the Tata Nexon EV, has been slashed in price. Accordingly, the price of the XM variant, the base variant of the Tata Nexon EV Prime electric car, has been reduced by Rs 50,000. Similarly, the price of the XZ+ variant has been reduced by Rs 31,000. The Tata Nexon EV Max electric car has been slashed by Rs 85,000 on all variants.

After this price cut, the starting price of Tata Nexon EV Prime electric car is Rs 14.49 lakh. The top variant is priced at Rs 16.99 lakh. The 3.3 kW charger model of the Tata Nexon EV Max electric car will be priced between Rs 16.49 lakh – 18.49 lakh. The 7.2 kW charger model of the Tata Nexon EV Max electric car will be priced between Rs 16.99 lakh – 18.99 lakh. The prices given above are ex-showroom prices. Similarly, changes have been made in the mileages as well. That is, the range of the Tata Nexon EV Max electric car was earlier 437 kms, now it has been increased to 453 kms.

The new Nexon EV electric cars will go on sale from January 25. Customers who already own the Nexon EV electric car will also be able to get the mileage-enhancing update. From February 15, it is said to be available through a software update. Earlier, Mahindra launched the Mahindra XUV 400 electric car to compete with the Nexon EV electric car. And its price has been set at Rs 15.99 lakh and the price of the top variant has been fixed at Rs 18.99 lakh. It is worth noting that Tata Company has adopted a price reduction strategy to deal with this competition.
