With the introduction of a new service called Tata Play 4K for just Rs.99.. Tata Play has added more than 200 new channels to its plan which is available for recharge under Rs.300.
Tata Play has added a streaming TV platform called DistroTV under its Binge service. Binge is Tata Play’s integrated OTT service. It offers more than 20 entertainment platforms through a single log-in.
Currently DistroTV is also included under this service. Through this new addition, Tata Play Binge customers will have access to over 200 additional premium streaming channels. The five include 9XM, YRF Music, News18 channels, TV9 Network, APP Network and many more channels.
What OTT sites are already available to access under Tata Play Binge service? Disney Plus Hotstar, G5, MX Player, Aha, Hangama Play, Shimaromee, Epic On, Dokubuy, Shorts TV, Travel XP, Manorama Max, iStream, etc. are available for access. These are all the OTT destinations available under the Super plan of Tata Play Binge service.
Access to some more premium OTT sites is also available under the Mega plan. The Super Plan is priced at Rs 299 per month. If you choose the same for quarterly or 1 year.. Rs.849 and Rs.3199 respectively. Similarly, 1 month, 3 months and 1 year subscription of Mega plan costs Rs 399, Rs 1119 and Rs 4199 respectively.
What will be available under Tata Play 4K service launched at Rs.99? As the name suggests, Tata Play 4K is a service that lets you watch content in super-high resolution. Currently, the new Tata Play 4K service is available at an introductory price of Rs.99 per month.
The service is expected to reach a large number of Tata Play customers as it has been introduced during the Indian Premier League (IPL) abbreviated cricket matches. This will increase Tata Play’s revenue.
As well as Rs.99, another value added service worth Rs.199 is also available under Tata Play service. It is called Tata Play Record Premium. As the name suggests, this is a service that allows customers to record their favorite shows.
An important feature of this service is that it allows you to record content from multiple channels simultaneously. This means you can record another TV show to watch later at the same time you are watching something on another channel.
In a nutshell.. Customers accessing Tata Play Record Premium service at Rs.199 will not have to worry about missing a program due to time constraints or missing one of 2 important programs when they are telecasting at the same time!
