Mubadala Investment, a consortium led by Tata Power and Black Rock Real Assets, has acquired Tata Power Renewables for Rs. Has contracted to invest Rs 4000 crore. BlackRock Real Assets has announced that it will invest 10.53% stake in Tata Power Renewables through equity and convertible instruments. Thus the final share during the final transition is said to be between 9.8% and 11.4%.

The newly created site claims to have five unique businesses offering long-term, customer-centric solutions.

It will cover all of Tata Power’s renewable energy businesses. Similarly, Utility Scale includes Solar, Wind & Hybrid Generation Assets, Solar Cell & Module Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchase and Construction (EPC) Contract, Roof Solar Infrastructure, Solar Pumps and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.

The overall asset portfolio ensures diversified and consistent revenue streams, including 25-year fixed price BPAs for grid-linked utility-level plans.

The company’s investment is expected to finance Tata Power Renewables’ intensive development projects.
