Tata Motors has launched an electric car called Tiago EV. This is the company’s 3rd electric car. The current launch price of the Tiago EV is pegged at around Rs 8.49 lakh ex-showroom with the introductory offer. It has 4 variants. The booking for this car starts on 10th.
According to the company, the cars will be delivered to the bookers in January next year. Digital instrument cluster, height adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, infotainment system with touch screen, 45 types of Z Connect, smart watch connectivity are available.
Depending on the car variant, there are 2 batteries of 19.2 KWh and 24 KWh. On a full charge, these can go up to 250 km and 315 km respectively. The entry-level XE comes with a 19.2kWh battery and a 3.3kW charger. Its ex-showroom price is around Rs.8.49 lakh.
The top variant, the XZ Plus Tech Lux, comes with a 24kWh battery. Its ex-showroom price is pegged at around Rs 11.79 lakh.
