According to reports, India’s Tata Company is going to bid for Wistron Corporation’s iPhone manufacturing plant in Bengaluru.
According to the information provided by the business news agency Bloomberg, Tata is planning to bid for Wistron, which operates in Karnataka. The work will be completed by March 31. Wistron is India’s first iPhone manufacturer. Wistron is estimated to be worth around $600 million (Rs 4,920 crore).
Wistron is headquartered in Thailand. I-Phone is manufactured in this company. If Tata buys this plant, Tata will have the honor of being the Indian company that manufactures the iPhone in India.
