Kochi: Police say they will continue to probe Sujeesh PS, who was arrested in a tattoo case. The accused, who was remanded in custody yesterday, was taken to the spot by the police to collect evidence.
At the same time, the Kochi DCP said that there was strong evidence against Sujeesh, who was arrested in the Kochi tattoo case. After the arrest was registered, Sujeesh was taken to the tattoo center on the hill and evidence was taken. The accused, who was produced in court, was remanded and sent to jail.
Sujeesh was arrested by the police near Perumbavoor last night. Upon further questioning, the accused denied the allegations of the complainants. Sujeesh claims that he did nothing wrong and only worked as part of his job. However, the probe team said that there was strong evidence against him. The deputy commissioner of police said action would be taken if more people came forward with complaints.
Sujeesh has six cases pending against him at Palarivattom and Cheranelloor stations. Inspections at tattoo centers in Kochi have revealed several irregularities. The probe team said action would be taken in this regard.
