A 38-year-old Russian social media influencer has died in a road accident in Turkey. Tatyana Ozolina collided with a truck while driving her red BMW motorcycle. According to Turkish media outlet Turkiye Today, Tatyana was traveling between Mugla and Bodrum when the fatal accident occurred. She lost control of her red BMW S1000RR 2015 and collided with a truck near Milas. An ambulance was also quickly on the scene, but despite this, Tatyana Ozolina could not be saved and she was declared dead at the scene.
She was very famous on social media
Ozolina was known as ‘MotoTanya’ on social media. She was a popular moto vlogger with over 1 million followers on Instagram and over 2 million followers on YouTube. She was called Russia’s most beautiful biker. The influencer had travelled to many countries around the world on her motorcycle. In her last Instagram post, she had talked about how she was not being allowed entry into Europe.

A Turkish biker, Onur Obut, who was accompanying Tatyana Ozolina, survived but suffered serious injuries and is hospitalised. According to media reports, the third biker present at the scene was safe. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident. In her last social media post, Tatyana Ozolina wrote, “4000 km from home. I missed Greece, but I didn’t miss my motorcycle. In Greece, I bought a magnet. I was upset that I couldn’t visit every corner of Europe, but I knew that such a situation could happen… Therefore, I am going ahead to visit beautiful, warm and hospitable Turkey.”

According to The Sun, Ozolina’s bike was hit by another biker group, forcing her to brake suddenly. She was unable to avoid the collision and lost control and crashed into a truck, suffering fatal injuries. She died before the ambulance could arrive. According to media reports, Tatyana’s 13-year-old son and the entire family are in shock after the incident.

Paying tribute, Andrei Ivanov, head of the Motomosko association, said: ‘MotoTanya is no longer with us… Her life was bright and beautiful… Millions of people followed her. There is probably not a single motorcyclist who did not like her. Tatyana was envied, admired, imitated and at the same time discussed and slandered. Her departure was no less than a heavy shock for all of us.
