Tawaaf permission; Visitor flow in Makkah

Makkah തോടെ Visitors flock to Makkah after getting permission for non-pilgrims to circumambulate (Tawaf) around the Kaaba. Visitors have been allowed to walk around since Thursday. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that more people had performed Tawaf yesterday, a holiday.

Non-pilgrims have not been allowed on the pilgrimage for over two years due to restrictions imposed as part of the ban on Kovid expansion. Many foreigners, including Malayalees, are happy to travel to Makkah after a long absence.

Pradakshinam can be obtained by taking a Tawaaf permit on the Tawakkalna and Ithamarna app. Facilities have been set up on the first floor of Harampally for the pilgrims not to be disturbed and to control the crowds. Visitors are only allowed to walk around from 6 to 10 in the morning and from 9 at night to 3 in the morning. He was also reminded to wear a mask inside the church and in the courtyard.
