Agents of the Judicial Police of Zone 8 intervened a housing in the citadel Los Arbolitos 1 of the Durán canton. At the scene they released Julio Cesar RZ, who provides his services as an informal taxi driver through an application.
The operation was completed on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The commander of Zone 8, General Willian Villarroel Trujillo, stated that at 2:30 p.m. the released citizen picked up two adolescents at the Jaime Roldós Aguilera bus stationincluding a woman.

The car owned by the informal taxi driver was found abandoned in citadel Primavera 2. The authorities transferred it to the vehicle retention yards of the Judicial Police, together with two seized cell phones, one of them owned by the victim, and two moorings.
