Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Finale and ‘The End of an Era’ Docuseries Head to Disney+ and ABC
A comprehensive look into Taylor Swift’s record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ is coming to audiences this December, with both a full concert film and a behind-the-scenes docuseries set to premiere on Disney+ and ABC.
Taylor Swift has unveiled the official trailer for Eras Tour: The Final Show, a concert film capturing the final performance of her globally successful tour. The film, shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, notably includes the complete setlist from The Tortured Poets Department, which was added to the tour after the album’s release in 2024.
The highly anticipated release will be accompanied by The End of an Era, a six-episode docuseries offering an intimate glimpse into the making of the tour. Disney+ will begin streaming both projects on December 12. The docuseries will roll out in two-episode installments each week.
The docuseries promises unprecedented access, featuring appearances from Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, Gracie Abrams, and members of Swift’s touring team, band, dancers, and family. According to a statement, the series will provide “never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon.”
One poignant moment captured in the trailer features Swift reflecting on the communal experience of her concerts. “I’m very aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of,” she states, while being wheeled onto the stage. “This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that.”
The trailer also offers a glimpse into Swift’s personal life, including a conversation with her mother, Andrea, who speaks warmly of Kelce. “Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea shares. Swift herself draws parallels between her profession and Kelce’s, noting in a phone call, “We basically have the same job. You’ve got teammates, I got teammates. You have Coach Reid, I have my mom.”
Fans will also have the opportunity to preview the content on ABC. On December 12 at 8 p.m. EST, the network will air a special event featuring the first episode of The End of an Era alongside a one-hour presentation of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show.
