Forbes estimates that the tour, including international stops, could bring in a staggering $1.5 billion, depending on ticket prices.
Swift’s concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” also made a significant impact. Only released in theaters, the film raked in an astonishing $92.8 million during its opening weekend. This is deemed the biggest opening of all time for a concert film, surpassing the record set by “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” in 2011. Adjusted for inflation, the film would have made approximately $102 million in today’s dollars.
Furthermore, Swift has taken control of her entire music catalog by embarking on the process of re-recording her first six albums. With the release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” this year, Swift now owns the rights to these albums. She had previously re-released “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021.
