Travis Kelce Surprises on “Saturday Night Live” as Taylor Swift Makes Cameo Appearance
In a surprising turn of events, the premiere of “Saturday Night Live” hosted by Pete Davidson featured not only a surprise appearance by Travis Kelce but also a cameo from Taylor Swift herself.
Following a commercial break, Swift appeared on screen to introduce her friend, Ice Spice, for her second performance of the night. This marks Swift’s fifth appearance on “SNL,” with her last one being in 2021 when she delivered a powerful 10-minute performance of “All Too Well.”

Although neither Kelce nor Swift came on stage at the end of the show, Davidson took the opportunity to thank both of them. Swift’s presence at Kansas City Chiefs games to support Kelce has caused quite a stir in the NFL community. The first game she attended boosted the NFL Sunday ratings on Fox to 24.3 million viewers, and the second game, where she brought several A-list friends, saw an average of 27 million viewers on NBC and Peacock. While she also attended Kelce’s game on Thursday night, the viewing figures on Amazon Prime Video have yet to be released.
In addition to her appearances on “SNL” and her NFL fandom, Swift has another reason to celebrate this week. Her movie “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” opened with an impressive $39 million on its first day, including $2.8 million from Thursday previews.
