Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today reported 7.4 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 9,926 crore in the fourth quarter.
TCS’s fourth quarter revenue rises to Rs 50,000 crore $ 350 billion more than last year.

TCS’s revenue increased by 15.8 per cent to Rs 50,591 crore over the previous quarter. TCS fully grew by 14.8% to Rs 38,327 crore in the last financial year. In terms of revenue, it has increased by 16.8 per cent to Rs 1 lakh 91 thousand 754 crore.
Better growth
Commenting on TCS ‘4th Quarter Growth, Rajesh Gopinathan, CEO, said, “The 4th quarter results have been consistent and we have completed the financial year very strongly. Corona has recovered despite the damage. Everything, including the financial environment, is in good condition.
The order received $ 113 billion in the 4th quarter. This is an order not available this quarter. The order received a full $ 3460 billion last fiscal year.
TCS grew better than expected in the 4th quarter. This is good growth in all branches, especially in North America. “
New jobs for 40 thousand people
Ganapathy Subramanian, Managing Director, TCS, said, “Our company continues to grow. We selected one lakh youth through campus interviews in the current financial year. We are looking to hire 40,000 people in the current financial year.
The war between Russia and Ukraine and the situation prevailing in Europe will not affect the operation of the company in any way. We do not have branches in vulnerable countries. ”
