“Watermelon is associated with summers in Greece, that’s why I thought of adding another Greek element, the mastic liqueur, which suits it very well” says Armando Ilias, head bartender at Teras in Neos Kosmos who gave us the recipe . “Mint also goes really well with this particular fruit (you’ll see the same combination in many seasonal salads), while fresh lime juice gives the necessary acidity,” he continues, explaining his idea for Tears in the club which is made in no time in the blender.
