Tech Mahindra to open its first Information, AI & Cloud Center in Saudi Arabia
Tech Mahindra, India’s largest IT company, is set to set up a Data, AI and Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Tech Mahindra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia for this purpose.
The Cloud Center (CoE) will have educational and socio-economic goals to build national high-tech capacity, create high-quality jobs, promote digital innovation, and empower small and medium enterprises, the company added.
Tech Mahindra said the company is focused on investing in emerging technologies and enabling digital transformation to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Information Technology, Haitham AlOhali, said, “Cloud, data and AI will play an important role in Saudi Arabia’s information technology and digital development, and we are delighted to be working with Tech Mahindra, a digital leader.”
