Technically it’s winter: the suplier super soup is back

by time news

The weather doesn’t really cooperate with the concept, but according to the calendar, winter is already here, so we are here to announce the return of the Soupplier in an upgraded and expanded version. Suplier, the pop-up marquee that was established two years ago in Rabin Square and moved last winter to Masrik Square, is now returning to its original location with minor changes. Behind the scenes, Chef Benzi Arbel parted ways with the TGV group (Sura Mara, the Prince, the Vine, the Lighthouse and more), which continues to manage the Souplier. Another innovation is happening in the points of sale opened in the lighthouse in Reading Park and in the Teper building, with the intention of covering the whole city so that the soups arrive quickly and at the right temperature.

In terms of menu, get a siren of reassurance: the moligthony is still present. The Indian-British soup from the mythological “Soup Nazi” episode in Seinfeld is an ultimate winter dish thanks to its ingredients – chicken, coconut milk, coriander seeds, orange lentils and green apples as well as cardamom, turmeric and other warming spices. Also on the list is horira soup with noodles (on a vegan basis), tomato soup and a rich Italian-style risotto different from the familiar tomato and rice soup, chicken soup with the option of adding krafalach and a classic Persian Gondi soup with lemon-scented chicken meatballs in it. Alongside the regular dishes, you will find soup specials from all over the world, for example onion soup, winter mushroom soup, Mexican chicken soup and spicy Thai soup. Occasionally crab bisque also pops up on the list (walking on the side), and if you’re a fan of the genre you should hurry, as the entire pot is sold in less than an hour.

As in every winter, garlic bread and herbs complement the soup for a complete meal. The price: from 39 NIS for half a liter of soup, 59 NIS for a liter of soup, 18 NIS for garlic bread. At Walt you can order a “full hug” deal including a soup of your choice, garlic bread and a drink (fruit/mineral water) at 89 NIS. Now just let the rain come.
