jpnn.comJAYAPURA – The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) conducted a survey in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province to measure local community preferences ahead of the 2024 Pilkada.
The survey, which took place during the period 3-13 August 2024, was conducted to determine the vote map of the prospective regent candidates whose names were most frequently mentioned among the people of Jayapura Regency.
LKPI Executive Director Togu Lubis said at the simulation top of mind As a result, the name Ted Yones Mokay received the highest public support with the highest electability of 27.4 percent.

Starting from Klemen Hamo 4.7 percent, Kristian Epa 4.4 percent, Jansen Monim 3.4 percent, Yanto Khomlay Eluay 3.1 percent, Giri Wijayantoro 2.4 percent, Gerson Ury 2.2 percent, Hana S. Hikoyabi 2.1 percent, Triwarno Purnomo 2.1 percent, and those who did not vote were 7.6 percent.
LKPI also conducted a simulation of 12 names with closed questions presented to respondents to be selected as the Regent of Jayapura.
The survey results show the name Ted Yones Mokay as the prospective candidate for Regent of Jayapura with the highest electability at 29.7 percent.
