Career
Teddy was born in Asmara (Eritrea) as the youngest of three sons. Due to the War of Independence, his mother fled to Germany with him and his older brothers.
Teddy grew up there in Bästenhardt in Baden-Württemberg, south of Tübingen. He completed his community service and then studied at the international acting academy CreArte in Stuttgart.

In 2009 he finally set foot in the TV industry. In the SWR series “Laible und Frisch” he took on the role of the babbling gas station tenant and in the ZDF production “Kommissar Stolberg” Teddy played the drug dealer Moel.
Teddy got his breakthrough as a comedian in 2011 when one of his YouTube videos went viral. In the role of “integration expert” Antoine, he answered questions about the integration test in a funny way.

Teddy thus secured several appearances on Stefan Raab’s “TV Total” show. From May 2012 he even got his very own comedy personality TV show: in “Teddy’s Show” he embodied the different personas Antoine Burtz, Ernst Riedler, Carlos, Lohan Cohan and Percy.

Teddy was also able to land a few roles on the big screen: in 2014 he was part of the action comedy “The Mama”. A year later he was seen in “Halbe Brüder” alongside rapper Sido and actor Fahri Yardim.
This was followed by further films and a role in the successful series “Bad Banks”, which is all about the Frankfurt financial world. There he impressed as David Kubiak in the second season.
