“These measures are not intended to defame any individual or escalate conflict, but…”
Teen trot singer Kim Dahyun is taking legal action against her former agency, alleging unpaid settlement fees.

On February 4, 2026 (KST), representatives for Kim Dahyun released a statement detailing the dispute. They allege that, despite repeated requests since November of last year, nTRO Entertainment failed to remit appearance fees, event earnings, and other income owed from the September–October 2025 settlement period. The statement continued, “In order to protect the emotional stability and rights of a young teenage artist, we had no choice but to proceed with legal action.”
Kim Dahyun initiated legal proceedings in late January, filing an application for a court payment order and asset-seizure proceedings at the Seoul Central District Court. Additionally, earlier this month, a criminal complaint accusing agency executives of fraud and embezzlement was submitted to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul.

Law Firm Inuiro, representing Kim Dahyun, stated, “These measures are not intended to defame any individual or escalate conflict, but are an unavoidable choice made to protect rightful compensation and legal rights.”
Kim Dahyun originally signed an exclusive contract with nTRO Entertainment in 2024. She terminated the contract following a breach of trust and has since joined a new agency, continuing her career as a singer since November of last year.
Born on February 23, 2009, Kim Dahyun is currently 16 years old. She debuted in 2020 and rose to prominence after placing third on Miss Trot 2, which concluded in 2021.
