Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have announced that beat-to-play action game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has become a million-seller despite launching only about a month ago.

That’s right, the game has moved over a million units, and in honor of that success, Cyrille Imbert, CEO of Dotemu, released the following statement.

“TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is my dream game since I started watching original cartoons and sinking coins into TMNT arcade cabinets as a child. We are so grateful to Nickelodeon for the opportunity to commemorate the era of TMNT that profoundly affected the lives of everyone in Dotemu , and thanks to our friends at Tribute Games who have expertly captured the classic thrill of Turtles battling Foot Clan in a new experience that feels completely fresh and exciting.

Since TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is also part of Game Pass (for both console and PC), it’s impossible to know exactly how many people the game actually released, but there’s no doubt it’s a lot more than just a million players.
