A teenager died after an accident on a court at the Clube Hebraica, located on Rua Hungary, in Pinheiros, an upscale neighborhood in the west zone of São Paulo, on Friday afternoon (3).

According to the sports center, the young man hung himself from a soccer goal, which fell on his body. He was initially rescued by the club’s medical team.

On the way to Hospital Samaritano in an ambulance, the teenager’s health deteriorated, so the rescuers changed the route to Hospital das Clínicas. When he arrived at the emergency room, the victim went into cardiorespiratory arrest and could not resist the injuries.

The court where the accident happened was banned, and the club’s commemorative agenda was suspended. In a statement, Clube Hebraica lamented the death and reported that “it is investigating the sequence of events that led to the accident”.

“The club, through its directors, joins in solidarity with the family’s pain in this moment of deep emotion. The club remains at the entire disposal of the family and the authorities to provide all the necessary information”.
